just changed the fuel sender on my doblo 08 1.4 petrol.same procedure just note on inserting the new pump there is a locating notch in the tank top ,which lines up with the insert on the pump push down with one hand to keep rubber seal in !!!whilst screwing on locking nut !! otherwise it will keep cross threading as the seal comes up :bang: thanks for info & saved around £300 by using delphni

I have this blooin doblo 1.9 non turbo its a sx model its a bit of a gutless thing been digging around, took the sender out the tank, expecting to find an electric pump at the bottom of the unit however I just found a filter the plug connector has four wires as if it should have something else I keep reading about fuel pumps

Well guys Fiat have said it is the oil pump solenoid and pressure switch. Total cost to replace both with oil and filter change will be £353.64 which I thought was pretty good for a main dealer!! I have booked it in for Tuesday 8th September so I will report the results then.

That was just to relieve the pressure. actually it dependent of your fiat doblo engine if the vehicle is a mjet 1.9 the pipe need to be removed. if its a 1.9 jtd like the picture derby doblo posted. the removal will be just removing the fuel filter as there was change of design for the fuel filter .. for mjet. The pump is at the back of the water tank nearest the drivers wheel. Remove the drivers side fog lamp reach round the rear and it literally lifts out. If the tank is full you could get wet. Pull it forwards and disconnect two pipes and the connector. Chances are the pump is duff.
