Very nice. My NC came with a removable hardtop (before I really knew they were rare) and I enjoyed it. (Now, I prefer hitting the button on my RF nowadays after years of taking the NC hardtop down the hill to the back of my townhouse, in the back door, and carefully hanging it on the wall, but still- it was a fun hardtop.)
I just purchased a replacement top for my 99 nb, and got a cloth glass Robbins top. Between tax, cost of the top, and shipping, I paid nearly 700 for the top. I've heard that labor can be high and it's a difficult job, so if you were wanting to buy the highest end top (800ish after tax) and have it professionally installed, I'd say 1200-1500 is
Use a high quality tape. primer (we recommend 3M Primer 94,) and thoroughly go over the channels around the side window, and the flat areas that fit on the rear deck. Let it dry completely. Remove the red backing from the window seals, and carefully and slowly press the seals onto the hard top surfaces you just prepped.There isn’t any cabin air filter on 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 Mazda MX5 Miata, however there is a reusable screen that kinda acts like filter.Please watch video
